Booking conditions
By booking a Little Dippers Baby Swimming course with Aqua Hub, you understand that this is primarily a water safety program. You also understand that Little Dippers Ltd should be informed of any medical conditions for yourself or your baby.
Refunds and cancellations
Changes to dates/times to Foundation bookings are possible but must be done within 72 hours of the start of your course. Please be very certain you are available to make the session/sessions chosen prior to booking. Should you wish to cancel your booking please note that we can only provide refunds if you cancel up to 72 hours before the start of your course. Refunds within 72 hours can only be provided if we can fill your space. If you decide to cancel your Foundation course we will refund you the cost of your course minus a £20 administration charge.
In the event that classes have to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control we will endeavour to offer make ups or alternative sessions.
NO Refunds / credits will offered if you are unable to attend your lesson because of extenuating circumstances, including ANY illnesses / weather conditions / precautionary actions or any other circumstances beyond little dippers' control. Â
NO refunds can be given for the cancellation of courses once the course has started.Â
Any other refunds will incur a £5 credit card fee
COVID
Where classes have been cancelled due to COVIDÂ restrictions the course will be suspended until classes can resume once the lockdown is ended.Â
Refunds will only be given if we are unable to run your course once classes resume and will be subject to a £20 admin fee.
By booking into a Little Dippers course you understand and agree that unattended classes cannot be refunded, regardless of reason. Should you wish to make-up a missed class, 2 free make ups are offered each term, if any more than that are required it will incur a charge of £7.50 per organised make up. In extreme circumstances of illness, this fee can be waived but a Doctors certificate will be required.
Child Protection
Aqua Hub takes Child Protection very seriously and therefore you understand that at no point during your session will photography and filming be allowed unless previously agreed to and supervised by an Aqua Hub member of staff.
Your baby and the water
Never allow your baby to be alone or unsupervised near water. Although this program is designed to teach remarkable water skills, you baby is still far too young to appreciate the dangers of water. It is essential that babies are never left unattended.
Babies become cold very quickly and the pool temperature for practice must be at least 32 degrees C at all times. Babies should not be in the water for more than 30 minutes a day.
If attending a public swimming pool please make sure a lifeguard is in attendance and that they are aware of your activities.
Make up policy
Please note that once a course has started missed classes for any reason CANNOT BE REFUNDED. However, Little Dippers are currently one of the few swim schools to offer make up classes if you are unable to attend a lesson for ANY reason. Make up classes will incur a charge of £7.50. However each term we offer TWO FREE make up classes in case you go on holiday or your baby gets ill.
Make up classes can only be offered when there is space in another class and therefore cannot be completely guaranteed, although every effort will be made to accommodate you.
When requesting a make up class please note that these can only be given in the following circumstance:
can only be provided if we have been notified of your baby’s absence in advance
if you know you are going to be missing several classes due to holidays please inform us of your holiday dates before going away
if your baby has an ongoing illness we ask that you contact us on a week-by-week basis, in advance of your class. In extreme circumstances of illness, the fee of £7.50 can be waived but a doctor’s note or photo of medication with date and the baby’s name will be required
make up classes cannot be rescheduled regardless of the reason
free make up lessons can not be carried over. However, should you miss the last lesson of the term one free make up class can be carried over if you are continuing with classes for the next term. We will not provide a carry over make up if you are not joining the next term. This also applies to make up classes with a Doctor’s note.
